Important Information

Firstly, it is important to understand that only undergraduates from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences are eligible to vote in the coming elections. USP students who are from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences are also eligible to vote.

Undergraduates who are eligible to vote have a maximum of 5 votes for the voting of the Arts Club Management Committee members, as stated in the Elections Handbook.

The Voting Procedure

1) The actual voting process would actually take place at the Arts Club Room on the 7th of September (Thursday), from 1000 to 1800h. If you are unsure of how to get to the Arts Club Room, please refer to the directions and at the bottom of this page.

2) A notice which explains the voting process, will be pasted outside the Arts Club Room.

3) You do not have to worry if you are still unsure as you will be briefed on the voting procedure when you enter the room.

4) You would have to present your Matriculation Card or any other forms of identification to prove that you are a full-time undergraduate student of the faculty. So please remember to bring your Matric Cards on that day.

5) Please fill in the voting slips properly and carefully, as any slips found to be not in accordance with the instructions, would be deemed as void.

6) You are allowed to vote for either just 1 nominee, or up to 5 different nominees. Just be reminded that you cannot vote a nominee for more than once.

7) You are suppose to fill in the Voting Numbers of the nominees whom you wish to vote for on the voting slips, and NOT their names, matriculation numbers or any other information. To view the list of Voting Numbers of the nominees in our team, please click here.

8) When filling in the voting numbers on the voting slip, do take note that single numbers are to be written with a 0 in front. For example, for Voting Number 1, write it simply as 01 on the voting slip. Do not circle the numbers or add any brackets, markings or punctuations.

As you know by now, each FASS undergrad is entitled to make 5 votes for 5 different nominees. If you have only one person in mind which you would like to vote for, I urge you to vote for that person, plus the other nominees in his team. In this way, you would not waste your votes.

Despite campaigning as teams, please note that votes will be calculated and tallied as individuals, and not as a team.

If you are still unsure after reading the above procedure, feel free to contact our representitive, Reuben Li to clarify any of your doubts. Alternatively, you may use our Tag Board to ask us any questions you have regarding the voting process.
